Because of an international travel request, I needed a PCR covid test. Milltown Pharmacy was great at providing the service, but they gave me the contact of a lab that they do not use anymore to get the results. The pharmacist I called right before the flight was very courteous and did his best to get the results, but he also didn't know that they had change from Mako Medical lab to Clarity Laboratory. And although he tried hard to help me, it was all in vain. That meant not being allowed in the aircraft and having to schedule everything again and the the cost of that for business purposes was way bigger than just the cost of the PCR covis test. Finally, the day after my missed flight, I got the information to get the results for my test, and the lab informed me that they were not given my email or any other form of contact, which is why I didn't get my results on time for my trip. The owner of Milltown Pharmacy, Paul, personally called me to apologize and to offer solution for the problem. He informed me that he made sure that all employees were aware of the recent lab change and that that this problem will never occur to any other client. I give them 5 star for being proactive to solve the little misunderstanding and for being ready to change for better. We all make mistakes, but understanding the problem and being ready to change is what make good customer service. And this is the one reason I like to work with small local businesses. If I could, I'd give them a million stars.
